Terms of use

Passage is provided by The Passage team. By using it you agree to these terms and to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement, which applies to the app.

The service

Each day Passage sends you one passage from a public-domain book, with notes on its author and a piece of music to listen to. Passages are chosen and explained with the help of AI. The passage itself is copied from public-domain sources; translations are either public-domain translations or made for you, and are labelled as such. The notes are written with care but may contain mistakes. Passage is for reading and reflection, not professional advice.

Reading days

Your first passage is free. After that, reading Passage needs days, bought as a pass of 7, 30 or 365 days through your Apple Account. A pass is one payment and never renews: when its days run out, Passage locks until you buy another. A pass bought while you still have days starts when they end. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. Refunds are handled by Apple.
